I have been a busy bee but am a little unhappy..

I as you know have a bad shoulder and will its blinking painful! and its starting to get annoying too! its just making me unhappy I hate being limited in what I can do, Yesterday was busy I did a workshop for a regular customer of Penrith crafts Gina and her friend, it was really good it went really well I enjoyed it too! just wish i could get rid of this painful shoulder...its making me really unhappy...... We had a good and Sandra had finished my new scarf I didn't want to take it off she keeps trying to nick it back! will have to take a photo to show you its yummi I just love the Rico wool so many lovely colours, Got to plan for next weekend as I have a Cuttlebug workshop booked for Saturday,

Poor Henry.....!!!

Well poor Henry did not know what had happened when I sat down to craft tonight.... After a long day at the office! te hhehe I mean shop! tehhehee... I walk to and from work so it was nice to walk home with no rain tonight... for the last week I have been dodging the drops or should that read down pours! sheesh! think we have had enough rain in one week to last the rest of the year! but what has been even nicer was the fact that my better half has been working 7 till 3.30 in his new job and has come to meet me on his way back and we have walked home together! YAY!! soooo we have been able to cook dinner together and get jobs down and have managed to sit down a little earlier of an evening... Him on his PC and me on mine.... I craft in the lounge as I have a desk top PC and its on a nice large desk so I can craft and browse at the same time, and we can talk or listen to music or the telly at the same time! I know I am Mad! but we totally multi task!!

OK so as you know I have done my shoulder in... and I well am sat here with my T.E.N's machine on with also a hot wheat bottle on my should too! te hehheee daft I know as I should be resting it right? BUT! I just could not leave Poor Henry in that terrible mess! for those of you that did not spot the Bodge on the other card.... Look under the ribbon!

I coloured my ribbon with distress ink which I have done loads of times before but I broke one of my own rules.... Yup the leave it to dry one DOH!

Anyway as I said before I sat down tonight and took the card to bits and made another one I know maybe a lot of you will think I am mad? and well yes I am! te heheheee!! WAAAAAA! opps! It's just I could not ever send a card I was not happy with, Sooooo heres the new one....

Me thinks its a lot better now... what do you guys think?

Well its a quick card and it shows!!

I made this card this morning as my arm was feeling ok!

I went to the doc's yesterday and she told me I had torn the muscle in my shoulder again!

Waaaaaaaaaaaa not fair!

Anyway I thought as I could not really do much crafting I would make a quick one this morning as my arm feels better in the mornings!

Now I am asking myself Why i did as I have spoilt it! sob sob!

I have entered it in Papertake's challenge as I followed their great sketch

and I used primary colours for Cute Card Thursday! now this would of been cute if I had not of bodged it!

I will have to remake this one as I am not initially happy with it!

Marigolds Fred?

Got a really sore shoulder and am having to craft as much as I can one handed which is proving tricky so only one card today I think! and well it had to be...... Simon Say's stamp's challenge..... so their challenge is Give thanks so combining that with another great sketch Whiff of Joy's Challenge



I have inked up my WOJ Fred Celebrating Elephant and come up with this card! I was looking at some Orange card and wondering what I could do with it when Marigolds sprang to mind so I reached for my distress inks and spiced marmalade was to hand along with black soot and weathered wood for the cute Elly, I have also been cutting up milk bottles again for my flower....

1 sketch, 2 Cards 3 challenges

I decided to have a little play this morning before getting on with some housework and a few jobs I have to take up a couple of pairs of trousers For my O/H because he now has his new uniform, so that means sewing machine out! hmmmm! might take some time and I'm not the worlds fastest on the machine but....... I guess at least I can, now knowing its gonna take some time I thought I would have a craft play first did not wanna run out of time today lol.

I followed the sketch from Just Christmas & Birthdays

Penny Black Saturdays Challenge is White on White and Stamp somethings Challenge is Cute and Fuzzy so I love this little hedgy he is off the stamp that has 3 cutie's skating but I just wanted to use the one on this card.

Also because on Just Christmas & Birthdays Karin like all of us never has enough cards so her blog is about making 2 cards with one sketch so here's my 2nd card using the same fabby sketch she has done this week! check out her blog shes gots some great sketches and ideas

Edit- you know looking at this tonight after I have done the trousers! and I have to say I am really pleased with my self too! that the shape on the PB card looks metal infact it is white pearlesent Pigment mica paint! it looks soooo shiny now! te ehhee It is white Honest!
