Santa Claus is coming to town with a touch of Charisma!

Gosh the wind up here tonight is wild! the the rain is not stopping at all!
Went to see my mum and dad tonight, they live it Shap! thankfully they live fairly high up so they are safe. came back earlier than usual the weather was getting worse, Hope this rain stops soon as some of the bridges are now on high risk! scary stuff, and the poor people that have already been flooded out.... sigh! :0(
ok sooo home and tucked up warm thankfully!

Allsorts Challenge this weeks is Christmas carol or a song title!
So I guess mine has to be the old favourite Santa Claus Is Comin to Town and well he's coming in style or should I say full of Charisma this week!? heres their sketch I have followed...

heres my card.....
I have used :
A Santa WOJ image, Bazzill card stock, a lilli of the valley sentiment stamp
and some card candy, I have done faux stitching on the white card stock and the images is colour with a selection of distress inks and finished off with a little drys clear glus and glamour dust.

wet wet and painful oh and copic! hmmmmM! not sure about them...

I went into work today as we were not sure If Sandra would get through with the weather being so bad! I just feel so sorry for all the poor people that have been affected by this terrible weather the field up here well! they to are now apart of the rivers..... I truly have not seen this amount of rain is such a short time..... I got home around 4pm and went out to feed Lulu, Pietro and the gang and well Pietro was Not a happy bunny at all I opened his pen and well he started stomping like mad as if to say you expect me to come out in that! Hmmmmmmph! hope the weather is better tomorrow he love coming out to play not not in this rain!

I also have been having some private physiotherapy for my sore arm and I know now its a double trapped nerve... I have 1 trapped in my neck and 1 trapped in my shoulder! :0(
its painful and also annoying at the same time, it is limiting and upsetting as I can only do so much... But with pain killers and the physio's help it is improving, all be it expensive at £33 a session I have had 2 already and that is painful on the pocket too! :0( no stash for me this next few weeks sniff sniff....

ok enough of me.... on to the card.... I have made this card and coloured the image using copic not sure if I am any good with them I have 2 sets and well not sure if I am any good with them I love my distress inks....

so I am gonna have to play more with the copic to see if I can make them work for me
what do you think?

I have threaded the ribbon through the star and then added some jingle bells on sparkly thread.
Cute Card Thursdays challenge this week is Teen Terrors! lol I have a nearly teenager but he is 12 going on 30 some days... however this card would not be from him! te ehheee a little girly! ha haa! I have also used Friday Sketchers lovely sketch its a lovely one

1 Challenge and 3 stamps all on 1 card!

OK so I was thinking when I saw the Penny Black - Saturday Challenge was Winter Wonderland this time I would really go daft and use 3 stamps I have used snow scroll, Christmas flourish and leaping deer, now as I like my distress inks so much I thought I would have a play with them and some gloss card and my brayer and I went mad and ripped paper to make the scenic background and also cut a circle to make the moon I wanted to make the background muted so hope I have achieved that!

I added some drys clue glue and some glamour dust and a few gems.....
what do you think?

OK so I have entered their challenge but they have a CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN BLOG HOP
too!! soooo I just gotta have a go of that too..... see you there!
So I am off to have fun! and then an early night! cough! just seen the time ekkk!

We are not swimming yet!

Well My son was sent home from school yesterday afternoon as the weather up here was so bad that a lot of the local villages were either flooded or on HIGH alert, Lots of roads were closed too! anyway we got up early this morning and listened to the local radio and his school is one of a huge amount of local schools that are closed today! as you can imagine he's very happy about that! but at the same time fed up as he now has to come to work with me and guess how much he likes craft? YUP! zero! te hheee so he is bringing some homework and he has a book review to write before mid December think he might get that finished today! As I walk to work everyday am we are not flooded were I live I think we will get to work ok... Might have to swim across the church yard though as it was badly flooded yesterday.... Sandra just rang she can not get into work she got ½ way and had to turn back as police had closed the roads from her end, Doh! now shes good at swimming but hmmmm no good leaving the car behind, besides its a long way to swim from Workington! house work for her today! te ehheheee...

Anyway on to to a card, I had a little play last night with another of my images that I had pre coloured... the pile of pre coloured images is still good so I can still craft a little
I can not remember who gave me this image but thank you!! you will know who you are...

I used distress inks to colour this one I must admit it was quite a few weeks ago I coloured it and its been looking at me just waiting for the right challenges and well I think it fits Simon Say's stamp this week their challenge is ANIMAL ANTICS.. I also followed Just Christmas & Birthdays nice simple sketch too! I also used some Bazzil card stock and some corrugated card too! a little yummi card candy, my fav all time craft product glossy assents on his nose, eyes and the fish bone.
OMG! its started raining again! we are gonna need a ARK at this rate! ARGH!
