Recycle it!

Its time for a new As You Like It Challenge
with the theme of Recycling we want to see your favourite recycled item but first

We're one year old next week I can not believe a full year has past since Annette and I started the challenge!!
We hope you will play along this time and to celebrate we're offering a surprise parcel to 1 lucky entrant.
all you have to do is play along this challenge and it could be you! yes just play along no daft rules or hops or banner to add just as we like it!
A good old give away to celebrate our 1 year anniversary!

Yippee!!!

SO then the challenge and what did I recycle?
My Son loves weetos and I love them not to eat I love the packaging!

The sponsor of this challenge is
Crafty Sentiments and I am using this cute image called Day Dreaming

I love to recycle cereal boxes because its great free Kraft card and you can colour it just the same as real kraft. I have also recycled a toilet roll tube to use as a stamp; this is a fun way of adding some grunge.
LOVE this sentiment on the box it has a different meaning for me! haha

Loo roll inners make great grungy stamps for acrylic paints

Heres my card with the backing and bunting out of the weetos box and the painted loo roll stamped background!

I am playing the following challenges:

Cards Galore Encore - Include favorite color - I love blue & brown

Feeling Crafty Challenge - Anything for a child
Bunny Zoe's Crafts - Distress
Crafting from the Heart - Anything Goes
Die Cuttin' Divas - Earth Day Challenge include something recycled
Shopping Our Stash - Happy Earth Day - Include Something Upcycled or Recycled.
City Crafter Challenge - Paint It include a painted background
Crafty Bloggers Network - Die Cuts or Embossing
The Crafting Cafe One for the Boys

  2. Fabulous hun! Toad is a huge cereal eater (I mean he eats huge amounts of cereal, not that he is huge and eats cereal) so I have plenty of boxes on hand. You are an inspirational bird! Hugs xx
