Its so nice to say thank you!

Good Morning all!

Its Saturday So we have a new Challenge at Totally Gorjuss The Theme is Thank you!
and we are sponsored by

I LOVE distress inks and nothing better than some time to play with them
here is what I came up with...
The script paper is echo park and I have embossed divine swirl on the back piece
and distressed with greens, the circle with mustard seed and spiced marmalade.
the image is done with distress marks, the butterflies and ribbon with Distress inks also, I added liquid pearls and faux paper stitched the edge of the image too!

I don't know about you but I always seem to have off cuts even if its not much, you can
add some interest to the back of your card, and thank to my fabby craft buddy Dorte

I have become some what addicted to do the backs of my cards now and I can't stop cause when I plan not to do the back it somehow feels odd! teehehehee!

Challenge I am entering with my card are:
Simon Says Stamp - Embossing
Charisma Cardz - Things with wings
Divas by Design - Lots of Layers
Fab 'n' Funky - Things with Wings
Whimsy Inspiration - Anything goes
Secret Crafter Saturday - Distressing
Allsorts Challenge - Inspired by a song - Love is like a butterfly (Dolly Parton)
Do you remember the TV series Butterflies? with Wendy Craig?
Have a great day
and don't forget to come and join us at

hugs me x

  11. Excellent tip about using scrappy bits of the project to decorate the back. Your example is very nice -- almost a sort of clean-and-simple card on the back. I suppose you could do this to envelopes, too, as long as you didn't do anything really dimensional...

  16. Hi Samantha, Your card is beautiful! I love how you've made the DP's all your own by embossing and inking them up - looks gorgeous. Beautiful details, love those liquid pearls and the back look every bit as fantastic as the front.
