Saturday again and its the end of March where the heck ate the months going! that is ¼ of the way through the year! ARRRRRRRRGH!
So as its Saturday its time for a new Totally gorjuss challenge and the Theme for this challenge is Swirly whirly. I really love how versatile Kraft card stock can be and especially when I use it with distress inks..
We have Meyer Imports as our sponsor this time, and they are offering a great prize too!
For my card as I said I love Kraft card stock and I have used a new set of dies we have in stock at Penrith Crafts and are called Nellie Snellen Fancy Dies.
So you have the shape and it cuts slots and then you cut the little shapes and slide them into the slots, I left the little shapes in plain craft for a contrast.
I stamped the background circle with magical background stamp which if you look closely is all made up of little dots into swirls I think embossed it with clear embossing powder and then distressed over the top. The butterfly is a EK success layering punch also new in at Penrith Crafts and I have also used distress inks too!
The Challenge I'm joining is with are:
Fussy and Fancy - Anything but a Square/Rectangle
